Name: Rikus Guhar
Age: 20

Background:
Rikus' father was the first man ever to have found a way to Dherra's surface, however, after more than ten years, he has not returned and is declared dead. Rikus doesn't believe this, and knows his father will return one day. Rikus is a top student at the Alvard Academy, but hasn't made it as a Helt due to being late for class most of the time.

Age: 19

Background:
Basil studies Magus techniques rather than sword techniques, making him one of Alvard's most unique students, many others bully him for this, however, Rikus has always defended him and respected his choice. Basil sees Rikus as a brother.

Age: 21

Background:
Argus is Rikus' long-time rival, and believes a spear is better than a sword due to longer range and higher power. Argus mostly studies the Dragoon arts. He'd rather battle alone than in a team, since he believes team members will only slow him down.

Age:19

Background:
Princess of Valtua and heir to the throne. She has never accepted her life as it was and was always more interested in becoming a Helt. Therefore, she decides to follow Rikus' group across Valtua under the alias name "Ria Herfst", without her father's approval.

Name: Garland Hamas
Age: 64

Background:
One of the five Grand-Helts, and leader of the Alvard Academy. Favoring two-handed swords, he is very experienced with over 20 different fighting techniques, making him one of the most respected Helts on Valtua. Now retired, he trains other Helts in his academy, and made his own personal "Garhelts". An elite group of Alvard's finest warriors.
